Come along and view the Expressions of Emotions exhibition, where the amazing artwork produced by young people from the Liverpool CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services) partnership during a six week summer programme at Tate Liverpool will be on display.

The Liverpool CAMHS partnership consists of young people from peer led young people’s group, FRESH – Alder Hey, MYA (Merseyside Youth Association), Barnardos Action for Young Carers, PSS Spinning World, YPAS (Young Person’s Advisory Service) and ADHD Foundation. The six week programme aimed to engage young people across the Liverpool CAMHS partnership to learn about mental health through the arts.

Participants worked with artists Pam Sullivan, Michiko Fujii and Tabitha Moses and Tate Collective members to produce a diverse range of works focussing on mental health through the lens of themes such as Indoors/outdoors, digital and colour and emotion.

Liverpool CAMHS: Expressions of Emotions is part of Circuit, a 4 year national programme connecting 15-25 year olds to the arts in museums and galleries, led by Tate and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
