A St Helens artist who had his work selected for a prestigious London exhibition has been inspired to bring the work of seven artists with international reputations to St Helens this summer. The exhibition, called Changing Faces, is a great chance to view the range of ways that different artists tackle the self portrait.
Artists with work in international museum collections will be exhibiting, including Patrick Hughes, whose ‘reverspective’ paintings appear to follow you around the room. Platform are pleased to present his self portrait using this technique, which is a new way of working for Hughes. Also exhibiting are: David Hepher, Philip Hogben, Lucy Jones, Tim Lewis, Mary Mabbutt and Freya Payne.

Changing Faces is supported by Heart of Glass, an Arts Council funded Creative People and Places Project. Platform would like to thank Flowers Gallery for their co-operation to realise this exhibition.
