‘Photos for Fairbridge ’ – 27 January to 28 February 2011 in the Gladstone Gallery of St George’s Hall. Exhibition of the winners and runners-up of ‘Photos for Fairbridge’, a photography competition run by a team from Brabners Chaffe Street LLP. Photographs of Liverpool and the surrounding area in eight categories: Architecture, Music, History, People and the Community, Maritime, Urban, Nature and Fairbridge.
The winning photographs will be auctioned at the launch event on 26 January to raise further funds and all monies raised by the competition will be donated to Fairbridge Merseyside, a national charity supporting young people in the development of confidence, motivation and skills or a return to education and employment. The charity relies on donations and business support, requiring £500,000 each year to carry out its vital work.
