7 – 15 December
Open Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 11.00 – 17.00
There will be an end of show sale from 3-5pm on Sunday 15 with a 20% discount on the majority of any works remaining unsold at this point. There will also be a Gocco printing demo at 4pm on this day.
Exhibition and sale of original artworks on a beastly theme. The show is curated by Sophie Bower, a studio member at The Royal Standard, inspired by her blog collection of the same name. Artists showing include Lindsay Watson (USA), ElÃn Edda (Iceland), Broughton Birnie (London), Emma Kidd (Australia), Aide Vanessa Flores (USA), Horse Design (Liverpool) and more.
As the work consists of original paintings, drawings, screen prints and sculptures at a very affordable price (£10 to £75), you are advised not to leave your visit too late if you would like to purchase work! Cash only please. (A deposit can secure work).
Free parking is available for those visiting the exhibition. The show is not part of The Royal Standard’s programme: it is housed in the Project Space available for studio members’ use.
There is a series of ‘Gocco’ (A5 screen) print workshops, priced £40 per 90 minute session for up to 4 children or adults (ie. £10 per person if 4 attend). This includes all materials and 10 x A5 of your prints to take home with you… great Christmas present opportunity?!
Contact scallybower@hotmail.com for more details: as the workshops are for small numbers, I can arrange one for a time that suits you.
