The Macmillan Gallery will continue to exhibit art, sculpture, photography and craft by local practitioners with additional works included for the Christmas season. Most notably among these are paintings by well known Liverpudlian artists, James Cosgrove and Brian Beattie.
Art For Macmillan’s demonstrations in Southport Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays will also continue and there will be water colour painting lessons to raise funds for the provision of care for cancer sufferers given by Irene Wilson in the market on Tuesdays. The lessons take place from 11am to 1pm and from 14.00 to 16.00 and cost £7: participants are advised to bring their own materials to work with.
