“Sporting Knowsley” presents a photographiccelebration of sporting events and achievements from across Knowsley.
Some of the Mersey Tigers, their Cheerleaders and their tigermascot will be making a special appearance at the private view -come along andhave a go at playing mini basketball! Light refreshments will be available.
Kirkby Photographic Society have been working with Knowsley Leisure& Culture Service over the past year to take photographs which celebratethe many sporting faces, events and places within Knowsley. To complement theSociety’s photographs, a selection of images from Knowsley’sarchive collection will be on display, showing local sports teams and eventsfrom as far back as 1908.
