Kirkby Gallery – ‘Hands On’ exhibition

Kirkby Gallery – ‘Hands On’
9 May – 17 July 2011
The ‘Hands On’ exhibition is a celebration of the work which came out of a project of the same name, which aimed to bring new creative skills to staff and people with learning difficulties through workshops with professional artists, teaching them to use new skills and techniques and inspiring them to look at creativity in a totally different way.

The three artists specialised in felt making, sculpture and multisensory.  The work created for the exhibition, was made between November 2010 and April 2011.
