Saturday 25 July – Â Saturday 29 August 2015
Trained in illustration at Stockport and Birmingham Colleges of Art, Runcorn based artist Audrey Smith has explored architecture and the environment, Liverpool, Norfolk and Whitby in her career spanning almost 50 years. A 2003 exhibition, in which Audrey explored the link between Norton Priory and pilgrimage, inspired a series of new work about pilgrimage routes along the Lleyn Peninsula. This exhibition features highlights from Audrey’s career with work from her own collection and loans from museums and galleries in the northwest.
Artist’s talk: Audrey Smith will be in conversation with the exhibition’s curator, Louise Hesketh on Saturday 25 July at 1.30pm. Free event, all welcome.
All our exhibitions are FREE.
