As part of Bluecoat Display Centre’s ongoing programme of exciting artist’s talks, the next event will feature silversmith Jacqueline Scholes.Jacqueline derives satisfaction from making objects that are elegant and people actually use and enjoy. She finds working with metal particularly fulfilling, enjoying its permanence and indestructibility. She looks at the relationship between food and tableware and the interaction between the user and tableware.
A traditional afternoon tea, sandwiches and cakes in the grand setting of The Athenaeum Club will follow the talk.
This event is open to current and new subscribing Friends of Bluecoat Display Centre and The Athenaeum.
