Upcoming exhibition “Upcycled – Rags to Riches” explores the concept of creating art from otherwise useless materials.
The main exhibitor, local costume designer Libby Bower, works with a diverse range of unwanted objects and ephemera to create her flamboyant costume illustrations and unique three dimensional garments in her signature style.
Original artwork by further members of Arts Hub 47 will also feature in this exhibition. Come and discover the potential of transforming pre-loved materials into new creations.

We are the Hub for Art and Design in the South Liverpool Community. Situated on bohemian Lark Lane, our shop is the outlet for all things locally created and hand crafted.
Regular workshops, exhibitions and training sessions feature in our busy calendar of events. Rooms are also available to hire.
Our co-operative members sell a range of high quality art work, constructed textiles, photography, jewellery, ceramics and woodcrafts at a range of affordable pricepoints.
The Hub is run on a not for profit basis, staffed by volunteers and funded by the commission taken on sales and the small charge for room hire.
