Offering an escape from the chaotic landscape of the city, RETREAT is a programme of artists’ films which span three decades and several countries. Curated by James Harding, as part of FACT’s experimental and adventurous film programme SEEN, in response to the themes of the Liverpool Biennial 06 these films are drawn together by the desire to escape or to take refuge within personal space.
