The film is shown from the perspective of an insomniac as he tries to recall how he has come to be shot in an urban underground car park. Through a fragmented, non-linear stream of events that encompass day and night, Tel Aviv is spliced through the man’s chaotic perspective, drifting between the known reality and a hallucinatory one. Slavin’s stunning use of animation to interfere with the cities architecture creates a dreamlike tone, whilst the
futuristic photography and dark crime point to both science fiction and film noir, creating an innovative fusion of genres and styles.
