Private View: 9 November 2010, 13.00 – 15.00 and 19.00 – 21.00

Ordinary people who just happen to be over 50 explore their self-image in relation to typical ‘over 50s’ stereotypes. Artists: Jacqueline Boylan, Maddie Bell and others tbc.

Great Company
is a social events group for people over 50 but it’s far from a ‘typical’ pensioner’s club with a diverse range of people enjoying a wide range of events and activities.

Members have been enjoying an interesting mix of workshops – from collage to drama and from pottery painting to film, to raise ideas for this photography exhibition in collaboration with MadPanda photography, entitled ImAgin’

The work is still in progress but expect your preconceptions to be challenged as people over 50 portray themselves the way THEY want to be seen.

This project has been funded by Liverpool City Council and Liverpool PCT through the ACIP Grass Roots Innovators Small Grants programme. This project is still in progress and it’s not too late to get involved.
