The first day of Wirral fun, Monday 31 May, takes place at Thompson Street off Church Road, Tranmere and includes:
An afternoon of themed walks around Tranmere, starting at 3pm at the Neighbourhood Resource Centre, Church Road and will last for a maximum of 2 hours. Wear good shoes. Three walks to choose from:
Historical Tranmere led by Roy Dennett
Foraging in Tranmere led by Andy Hubbard
Tranmere Wirralpedia Walk led by Beverly Glover
All are FREE but please book your places.
Evening events at Thompson Street
8 – 9pm: The Wirral Mobile Allotment project: Join Squash Nutrition to create the Wirral Mobile Allotment. Plus a delicious BBQ and Smoothie bike.
9 – 10pm:Magnificent Revolution Cycle Cinema Evening presents ‘Mapping Memories’, a film by Barbara Lamb and a historic Tranmere film by
Vesbim productions.
