Went to the two Cathedrals

Went to the two Cathedrals today. The Metropolitan has a work by Julian Broadhurst which is eight geometric shapes (2D not 3D). Can’t think of anything interesting to say about it, sorry, but this place is crammed with good paintings and sculptures so is always worth a visit if you’ve not been before.

The Anglican was rather cool, the organ was being played (which was nice) and there’s 2 large structures made out of old coats donated by people from the sister cities of Cologne and Liverpool. You can walk inside and a lot of the coat pockets contain messages about the coats history which you are encouraged to read (just try and make sure you put it back in the correct coat!).
