‘Ritual Bodies’ at the Walker
Normally when I go to the Walker now I just head straight for the Special Exhibitions rooms, I’ve seen all the other stuff so many times. But these ‘artists interventions’ are spread around so I ventured into rooms I hadn’t seen for quite a while which I suppose is a good thing. There’s just 4 artists involved, I liked Margaret Cahill’s thin plaster dresses lit up from inside.

One of them is stuck on the blade of this statue in the cafe area. The ‘Gallery Guard’ (Mike Chavez-Dawson) sings a song about it.

A pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
