Liverpool Light Night – Friday 14 May 2010

We are having a special Liverpool Art Prize Preview event / exhibition on the streets of Liverpool ONE. We’ll post full details very soon.

Light Night in Liverpool 14 May 2010

A springtime evening of arts and culture, Light Night is the perfect excuse to visit your favourite and undiscovered cultural spaces after tea, after hours, all in one night.

Over 50 venues and organisations will throw open their doors for your to explore the city centre in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Enjoy our world-class museums and galleries, special tours, events and attractions and our award winning cafés, bars and restaurants.

Light Night follows in the footsteps of its winter counterpart the Long Night which takes place on 18 November this year. It’s also part of Museums at Night, the annual after-hours celebration of UK culture, history and heritage.

The full programme is yet to be announced but here’s some highlights to wet your whistle…

Liverpool Harmonic Gospel Choir at St George’s Hall

Global Studio Exhibition, Music, Arts Market and Barbecue at the Bluecoat
