DaDaFest 2009 launches today…and you are all invited!
Official DaDaFest 2009 public launch THIS EVENING – Tuesday 17 November 2009
at 18.00, the Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BX
DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts would like to invite you to the public launch of DaDaFest 2009! From 6pm this evening at the Bluecoat you are invited to the official launch which will include speeches, performances and a sneak peek at Sally Booth’s photographic exhibition that will run throughout DaDaFest 2009.
Ruth Gould, CEO of DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts said:

This year’s festival promises to be bolder and more exciting than ever and we are thrilled to be kicking things off in style at the Bluecoat on Tuesday evening! Speakers confirmed include Liverpool City Council Leader Warren Bradley, Aileen McEvoy of Arts Council England and Ruth Gould, CEO of DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts. The public launch will be hosted by sign dance visionary Caroline Parker, also include performances from nationally renowned comedian, Paul Betney, as well as a poetry reading from Craig McDonald and songs from Susan Hedges.
After the performances there will be the opportunity to mingle in the creative hub that is the Bluecoat and get a first look at the photographic work of Sally Booth, one of the featured exhibitions at DaDaFest 2009.
