Liverpool Children’s Festival
On Friday, August 3 2007 the city’s cultural quarter will receive an out-of-this-world makeover for Liverpool Children’s Festival.
The all-day entertainment programme includes street theatre, model-making, circus skills, drumming workshops, tightrope walkers, face-painting, and much more… There’ll even be a fake beach on site! All activities are free.
The opening ceremony starts on the steps of St George’s Hall at 11.00 and festivities continue throughout the day until 16.30
The festival takes place around William Brown Street (World Museum Liverpool, the Walker Art Gallery and Central Library), St John’s Gardens and St George’s Plateau.
Liverpool Children’s Festival is presented by Liverpool Young Culture Action Group and the Liverpool Culture Company.
