Chimp’s art fetches £14,000

The three pieces up for auction at Bonhams in London were painted by Congo in 1957 and were estimated to fetch between £600 and £800 in a sale which included works by Renoir and Andy Warhol. But they fetched £14,400, including buyer’s premium.
I actually remember seeing Congo the Chimp pretending to be human on the Zoo Time TV program when I was young.
So, if asked who my early artistic influences were, do I say Turner, Picasso, Dali or, more truthfully, Congo, Tony Hart, Rolf Harris and Superman comics?
