Used Car needed for artist projectThe Bluecoat Gallery team is looking for a scrappy old car to use for an upcoming artist project.Residency artist Ayman Baalbakineeds something from the 1970s or early1980s. No engine required, just the body and tires. We need to be able to wheel it into the gallery if small enough (our doorway is 64 inches wide), or cut apart and reassemble in the gallery. Rust, holes, dings, bashes all acceptable.Collection in the North West is preferable and the car can be returned or scrapped afterwards. Whatever desired.
Ayman is going to pile various objects on top of the car (old fridge, mattresses, suitcases, etc.). Please see the image to get a sense of the proposed piece.
