Ayane Muroya moved alone to the uk from japan at the age of 13. The daughter of two calligraphers she has recently graduated from central st martins art college london.
Steven Gent travelled overland alone, by bicycle, train and ferry to japan in 2005 and studied the calligraphic style with the muroya familly for 5 months.
