The Liverpool Pier Head is looking fantastic now, especially on a sunny, blue-sky day. Of course, its not quite finished but the Museum of Liverpool is almost there, the canal extension looks great and the new Mersey Ferry building has just opened. The picture above was taken from the first floor of the ferry building which houses a Beatles Story shop. As well as the ticket office on the ground floor there’s another shop and a bar / cafe. The building looks better than I expected from the initial plan drawings.
