The hour is nearly upon us but there’s still time to bag your pass and get along to Designival!

In fact you’ll even be able to purchase tickets on the day should you want to swing by, you lucky things. To whet your collective appetites here’s a little refresher on what we’ve got to offer over the next two days.

Thursday sees our Fringe events from D&AD (which is now sold out), a RIBA architour and the excellent BLABMini meets KIN session (which is now FREE) rounding things off nicely. As well as this 15 Liverpool studios will be opening their doors to YOU! Full opening times below:

Friday, leading from the front, we’ve got a breakfast for our guests, 8.45am at Camp and Furnace – with Deborah Dawton of the DBA. So get their nice and prompt for a little chow and chat.

Our keynotes on the day will be Sara De Bondt, James JarvisSimon Manchipp and Lance Wyman – with the latter two joined by editor of Creative Review Patrick Burgoyne for what will no doubt be an excellent head to head.

We’ve Masterclasses with Apposing,Uniform and Milky Tea – though these are near capacity already – as well as pop-up shops from Cow&CoUnit Editions andPercy Gulliver’s (where you’ll be able to bag some limited edition screen-prints we’ve produced for you lot!)

We’ve also got business mentoring from the ever-innovative David Parrish and our portfolio sessions – both of which you can book onto at arrival. Plus we’ve got It’s Liverpool, who’ll be on hand to tell you about their work.

As if that wasn’t enough we’ve got The Designist Exhibition, where you can wonder at the best the city has to offer – and all delegates get a free copy to boot.

Finally we’ll round the event off with a little shindig – as our afterparty “Design Is My Day Job”, in association with Mercy, sees designers David Bailey, Rachel Veniard, James Gilmore, Vicky Carr, Emily Salinas and Doug Kerr joined by James Rand to flex their mixing muscles.

So there, you have Designival – still time to get involved, so we’ll be seeing you over the next few days.

Oh, and PS – keep an eye out for a rather special little cuckoo clock in the building – it’s not what it looks like. But we know you’ll like it!
