This summer National Museums Liverpool is bursting with free activities to keep the entire family entertained. From teenage jewellery master classes to performances by the fab four, museums and galleries keep holiday boredom at bay.

Walker Art Gallery

1pm, 2pm & 3pm Join our character led session and find out more about the female artists featured in the Walker’s collection.
Teenage Jewellery Master Class
9 August 2007
11-1.30pm or 2.30-5pm (ages 14-18) Artist Gilly Langton leads this fun session especially for teenagers. Pick up some tips and make your own stunning piece of jewellery inspired by the exhibition Unnatural Selection: Jewellery, objects and sculpture by Peter Chang currently on display at the Walker.
World Museum Liverpool
Planetarium
World Museum Liverpool’s free planetarium allows visitors to blast off on a spectacular journey through space and time, learning about the Universe on the way. Shows cover various aspects of space science, including our Solar System, space exploration and special children’s shows.

Treasure House Theatre
Discover the amazing stories behind the treasures in World Museum Liverpool through music, dance, busy workshops and fascinating films that will entertain the whole family and bring the museum’s awesome collection life. Specially trained members of staff can answer your questions and help you handle intriguing objects. Using the latest technology the theatre will let you get closer to our collection than ever before.
