FREE Pensions for Artists Seminar, Liverpool
Wednesday 14 March 2007

Did you know that 70% of people currently working in the UK’s creative sector do not have a pension?

As part of their Artists Insights programme, Arts Council England are supporting a series of 50 FREE half-day seminars to be presented across England in March and April including Liverpool at Blackburne House on Wednesday 14. March.

Government changes to the pension system are underway – but existing arrangements still make saving for a pension one of the most tax efficient opportunities for anyone in work – and for some who are not. So why then, aren’t more people in creative occupations saving for theirs?

This half day seminar will examine the likely needs and the various options for artists/creative practitioners pension provision, which will provide delegates with simple, basic and useful information to assist them in this area.

The seminar will take place from 14.00 – 16.00 with registration at 13.30.
