It’s the Old Dock 300 Festival this week.
We saw it when it first opened (not the dock itself, I’m not that old!) – the visitor attraction. Very interesting and the hosts Danny and Yazz are great.
Don’t worry if you miss the tours this week, there are free regular tours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but you do need to book in advance.
Celebrate the 300th anniversary of Liverpool’s revolutionary Old Dock – the world’s first commercial enclosed wet dock and the secret behind the city’s success – at our free events and talks from 25 to 31 August 2015 at Merseyside Maritime Museum and the Museum of Liverpool.
