LIVERPOOL HERITAGE OPEN DAYS
Free events 6 – 9 September 2007

As part of Heritage Open Days, National Museums Liverpool is inviting visitors to go behind-the-scenes of some of their most popular venues from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 September 2007.

The exciting schedule of events includes fascinating tours of World Museum Liverpool and the elegant Lady Lever Art Gallery as well as a chance to discover the treasures in the National Conservation Centre.

Jon Marrow, curatorial manager at World Museum Liverpool says: “National Museums Liverpool looks after some wonderful buildings which are part of the rich history of Liverpool. We are delighted to be part of the Heritage Open Day scheme. It’s a once-a-year opportunity for visitors to get behind closed doors, into parts of buildings normally closed and discover lots of ‘hidden gems’ through the programme of linked special events.
