The Liverpool Food Lovers Festival starts today, Monday September 3 2007 and promises some mouth-watering events from local food producers over two weeks.
The celebration, organised by North West Fine Food, will start with a special gourmet dinner at London Carriage Works, created by head chef Paul Askew.
For intolerant people – that’s people intolerant of wheat, dairy and other nasties – there will also be an alternative gourmet night at Delifonseca in the second week.
And don’t forget a chocolate fantasy evening, fish dishes on the Mersey Ferries and a one off 1,000 pint giveaway from local breweries.
