There will be free hands on activities for all age groups ranging from coding to crafts that will explore how Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics or ‘STEAM’ are shaping and enhancing the world we live in.
There are over 200 makers waiting to show you cool and wacky stuff and highlights include…

Liverpool Code club meets at Central library at 11am on Sundays in term time but watch out for more Liverpool Code club happenings at other library sites soon.
UP ON THE ROOF!-LIVERPOOL ASTRONOMY CLUB AND QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY CLUB
Liverpool Astronomical Society is arguably the oldest amateur astronomical society in the world. Founded in 1881 the Society has over 130 years of experience behind it and can offer advice on a wide range of related astronomical subjects. We therefore invite members and interested members of the public, young and old, to extend their knowledge and enjoyment of the Science of Astronomy in friendly company.
The Quantum Technology Club’s ‘Communicating around the world without the Internet ‘shows people how amateur radio operators (the original ‘makers’) communicate with each other over many thousands of miles using simple equipment. Communication can be by code, voice, video, imagery or linking computers together to exchange information. Communication can even be with satellites and the International Space Station.
