Not quite Abbey Road, its the junction of Myrtle Street and Hope Street and the Beatles, along with a few thousand others, were enjoying the Hope street ‘Feast’ festival.
Bigger than ever this year with a lot of market stalls, food and drink, the craft fair in Blackburne House, MJMAN jewellers in the Hope Street hotel, live performance and music in the street as well as in the Philharmonic, Everyman, Unity etc. etc.
Great weather too most of the day and we came home with bags full of fresh veg and bread.
Had to choose whether to take our time here or try and go round quickly then dash down to the Albert Dock for the start of the Clipper Yacht race. Once the grey clouds started to amass we went for the lazy Sunday afternoon option.
I’m sure there’ll be lots of cool photos of the boats on the web soon enough.
Nice to see the Shiverpool people scaring the visitors
