Arts company Strange Cargo are creating a 15ft ‘giant’ to lead 800 performers in a spectacular, two-hour long, pageant to celebrate Liverpool’s 800th anniversary on Tuesday, August 28 2007

The people of Liverpool are taking part in special workshops to help create the giant, as well as several other new characters on pageant day, including two ‘big heads’ who will be the Giants constant companions.
