Free entry for local residents: celebrate the Beatles Story’s success
The Beatles Story scooped two major prizes at this year’s prestigious TMP Annual Tourism Awards and to celebrate they are offering Liverpool residents a free visit to the award winning attraction.
The world’s leading permanent Beatles-themed attraction won Large Visitor Attraction of the Year, following a significant expansion which saw it triple in size and open a second site at the Pier Head. It also won the Tourism Marketing Project Award for its Imagine Liverpool campaign, promoting the city across the world.
To celebrate the attraction’s success, Managing Director Jerry Goldman is giving free entry to Liverpool residents after 4pm, weekdays until 19 July 2010. You must bring proof of residence to claim your free ticket.
Local residents who claim their free tickets can hear how The Beatles became the biggest group in the world through the ‘Living History’ guide narrated by John Lennon’s sister Julia. Experience the spectacular 4-dimensional Fab4D experience, find out about life with John Lennon in the White Feather: Spirit of Lennon exhibition presented by his son Julian and former wife Cynthia. Children will love the interactive activities in our Discovery Zone, the children’s audio guide and family trail.
