Written by Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney 11 February 2007

Tony Knox departs Transvoyeur to put his energies fully on his independents practice of Moth Man in Lancashire, England. His research focuses on the regional character of this wrestler, an alter ego, which explores the male gender, identity and iconic in the provincial settings of post modern England in a working class context.

This research consolidates his practice professionally and academically in a Masters in Time Based Media which he is currently concluding at Preston University, Lancashire. The character has been developed with collaboration with Garage Pro Wrestling, also based in Lancashire, and considers the regionalism of how the concept of wrestling is explored in social context of this district and popular culture. This founds much of his thesis too and how the concept of Moth Man will be resolved in his creativity.

From all the artists of Transvoyeur, we wish him a fond farewell with his future endeavours.
