Last Push to Reach Target: Cornerstone Gallery’s ‘Processing’ Exhibition Magazine

Kevin Casey ‘Chamber’ (2012 – ongoing)

‘Processing’ is a photography exhibition that will be held at The Cornerstone Gallery, Liverpool, from 7 June – 29 September 2013.

The exhibition has been devised in response to three significant and unseen bodies of work that photographers Kevin Casey, Stephen King and McCoy Wynne have been undertaking. These works are in advanced stages of development but are considered as ‘works in progress’.

To advance these bodies of works, critical collaborations have been instigated between the photographers and artist Joni Karanka, and writers Linda Pittwood and Kenn Taylor. The project will result in 27 new photographic and written works that will reflect the outcomes of these collaborations.

To fully articulate the conversations and relationships between the photographers and writers, we plan to produce a newspaper that will be freely distributed. In order to fund this, we have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign. The newspaper will provide another platform for the project; a space to experiment, test out ideas and promote critical debate around the key themes of the project.

After a magnificent response to our Sponsume crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to publish a newspaper for Processing’, we are £100 from our total of £900.
We need a final push to make this happen! If you could contribute to the campaign we would be delighted to acknowledge you along with the other 52 partners who have generously supported the project.
Thank you for your support:
