Festive Fair Trade shopping evening
Wednesday 21 November 2007, 5.30-8pm
World Museum Liverpool is offering an evening of festive fair trade fun and entertainment. The museum shop is bursting with an extensive range of Christmas gifts including jewellery, textiles, confectionery and stationery. The shop only sells products supplied by recognised fair trade importers who contribute to sustainable development in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. As well as unusual gifts for the person who has everything, free mulled wine and fair trade nibbles can be enjoyed along with seasonal entertainment from St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School choir.
Lady Lever Art Gallery Christmas shopping evening
Wednesday 5 December 2007, 5.30-8pm
Visitors will be able to relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Lady Lever Art Gallery and enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine and a mince pie whilst browsing through a wide range of jewellery, candles, calendars, gift stationery, cards and Christmas decorations. Church Drive Primary School will be adding to the festive spirit as they perform Christmas Carols in the main hall.
All the profits of World Museum Liverpool and Lady Lever Art Gallery shops are returned to National Museums Liverpool.
