This huge poster proclaiming that Britain is on sale occupies a prime position in Shibuya, Tokyo above the famous ‘scramble’ crossing (see below). Its the work of visitbritain.jp and refers to the fact that it is now about 30-40 percent cheaper for Japanese to travel to the UK than just a few months ago thanks to the current exchange rates.
I saw similar ads whenever I accessed a UK website whilst over there.
