Blood and Silver at Bluecoat Display Centre

This was on 14 November, it was so crowded it took us ages to get the far end of the room. We then decided we’d better start making our way back towards the exit. Prof. Cheng Hock Toh is in their somewhere making a speech to welocme people to the ‘New Blood’ exhibition which is here as part of the Biennial but the main event is probably the ‘A Sterling Example’ show of silverware by Stanley Hill and his students. Many beautiful (and not cheap) items from the small silver bookmarks and paperknives to the large candelabra.

Amazingly nothing was damaged, we returned the next day when there was room to see and breath. After the luxury of the cavernous but temporary space on Hanover street the old space seems smaller than ever.
