As we head in to November and the weather outside gets colder and wetter, don’t let your spirits dampen too! The Epstein Theatre is at hand to let some sunshine in – with another spectacular month lined up for you crammed full of music, dance, comedy and even a touch of magic; everything you could need to brighten your days.
The month kicks off with an exquisite operatic delight from Isle of Noiseas they present Handel and Furioso on Sat 2 Nov; a tale of love told through beautifully powerful but poignant arias and duets, which explores a couple’s life together from childhood to old age, a truly breathtaking and unforgettable operatic experience. Then we have 4 familiar faces for you on Sat 9 November as local Liverpool lads pay tribute to the original fab 4, The Mersey Beatles are set to entertain you with all your favourite Beatles classics. Come along on Sun 10 November and support a great cause as Dance Schools from across the region will be getting their groove on all in aid of charity. Chance2Dance will showcase some great talent as they dance non-stop for the day to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
There is an adventure for the whole family to enjoy as We’re Going on a Bear Hunt comes to the Epstein direct from the West End between Wed 13 – Sun 17 Nov. A mischievous celebration of play with puppetry, paints, song and dance and not to mention a bear, this show really is too big to miss.
Live comedy and music fuse together on Sat 16 Nov when the multi-award winning Stephen Lynch brings you his unique blend of musical-based comedy and material from his new album Lion.
What better way to kick off the weekend on Fri 22 November than with an evening of great music as Foy Vance stops at the Epstein as part of his new tour with fantastic material from his brand new album Joy of Nothing. The music continues in to Sat 23 November when Positive Impact return with a double-bill of The Classic Motown Show; swinging songs and groovy costumes from that great Motown era, with tributes to all the legendary Motown artists.
It really will feel like summer again on Fri 29 Nov with the most successful show from Gran Canaria making a hilarious stop in Liverpool;Paul Carroll’s Music Hall Tavern will have you rolling in the aisles as they take you through two hours of hilarious entertainment. Join Mrs “T”, Special “K” and Courtney as they bring you a stunning night of music, laughter and razzamatazz.
We have a magical treat for you to end the month and seeing you in to December; on Sat 30 Nov enjoy an enchanting evening of conjuring, tricks and illusions as Liverpool Mahatma presents World Stars of Magic; an exciting show for the whole family to enjoy and a rare opportunity to see ‘live’ Internationally renowned magicians, illusionists and speciality performers from across the globe.
