What is domination? What forms can it take? Where is it encountered? How is it experienced? Who or what sustains it?

What does Who to What? is an experiential and embodied exploration of these questions by auditory and visual means.

Chantelle Valentin is an artist that works with images, video and audio. Her visuals were recently included in an event at Manchester’s Whitworth Art Gallery.  John Lowndes is a composer that is studying for a practice-based PhD on the topic of sound art and domination. His project will explore the question of domination here in West Everton, an area that continues to be adversely and disproportionately affected by austerity.
