VISIONS OF THE FUTURE: CONVERSATIONS ACROSS TIME

Wednesday 1 – Saturday 4 February 2017

10.00–16.00

FREE

Inspired by the novel Last and First Men 1930 by Wallasey-born author Olaf Stapledon, visitors are invited to drop-into the event Visions of the Future. Participants will consider what the future looked like in the early 1900s and devise their own visions of the future. Limited only by their imagination, participants can draw timelines, design infographics, draft cityscapes or draw advertisements for products that don’t exist from times that haven’t happened. Visitors also have the opportunity to book a place onto a workshop from 14.00–16.00 each day where members of the University of Liverpool’s Visions of the Future project team will be available to discuss the project in more detail.

This event is programmed by University of Liverpool, a Tate Exchange Liverpool Associate. To book onto this event please visit www.tate.org.uk/liverpool.
