29 NOVEMBER 2017 AT 13.00–16.00

Join self-advocate Leah Jones and artist-facilitator Jade French for a free drop-in activity and create your own piece of bunting as part of a unique arts display. This activity is suitable for all ages and abilities and part of Art, Activism, Language; Feminist Issues in Museums and Galleries.

About

Leah Jones is self-advocate, artist and activist for rights of people with learning disabilities and Down Syndrome. Jade French is an artist-facilitator, writer and researcher. Jade predominantly works alongside people with the label of learning disability to explore the intersections of art, disability and social change, often examining constructs of access, agency and inclusion through collaboratively producing, curating and commissioning visual art.
