Neon Drawing Disco
Monday 26 – Thursday 29 October 2015
13.30 – 16.30
Free Drop-In Session
This half-term families can take part in the Neon Drawing Disco and make unique designs using colourful UV light.
Taking inspiration from the works on display in DLA Piper Series: Constellations, participants can experiment with making invisible drawings come to life under party lights.
With pencils and pens on hand visitors can have fun decorating the specially designed family room with drawings that hang from the ceiling and with a playlist of party tunes providing a funky soundscape, families can boogie and bop in this drawing extravaganza.
This special event is designed as part of the national drawing programme of events for The Big Draw, the world’s biggest drawing festival.
This event has been developed by Tate Liverpool’s Family Collective, a new initiative consisting of 13 local parents who have been invited to work with artists at Tate Liverpool to work together on the early years and families programme.
