‘Accidental activist’ and award-winning interdisciplinary artist Paul Harfleet, uses art, illustration and design to educate and inspire bird lovers and promote creativity, kindness and acceptance.

Paul will read from his debut children’s book Pansy Boy, then invites you to take part in a drawing workshop, where – whatever your skill level – you’ll create perfectly beautiful drawings inspired by birds and nature. Then, Paul will share some of his top tips for ‘gentle referencing’ – so you can go home and create a look inspired by your favourite bird.

Workshops:
Monday 11th September, 4pm – 5.30pm, St Helens Library, World of Glass
Friday 15th September, 4pm – 5.30pm, Shakespeare North Playhouse, Prescot

Anyone who takes part is invited to join us on Saturday 16th September for an Avian Amble through Court Hey Park, to share your ‘gently referenced’ bird-inspired creations.

Families welcome, suitable for ages 6+.

Booking Required.
