How will cuts in public funding impact artists and public institutions in the North of England? Can we develop a stronger arts community with artists, commercial galleries, patrons and public institutions working together? Can artists in the North of England develop successful careers without having to leave their region?

The panel of speakers will debate the issues that are shaping the future of the arts in the region. In this event speakers will be asked by the chair to respond to provocations and questions.
