People Versus TV (PVTV) is a Liverpool-based artist-led organisation producing experimental films, community cinema events and collaborative creative projects.
Our Creative Meet-Ups are free monthly sessions where people come together to develop ideas, make things, learn new skills and explore creative projects in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.
In the last couple of Meet Ups, we’ve been developing a darkly comic sci-fi story about a cheap telepathy pill that may or may not work as advertised. This session will focus on shaping the story, characters and world of the project through discussion, experimentation and collaborative problem-solving. Whether you’re joining for the first time or returning to the project, you’re welcome to contribute.
No previous experience is required. Whether you’re interested in writing, filmmaking, art, performance, creative technology, or simply enjoy unusual ideas and meeting like-minded people, you’re welcome to get involved.
Creative Meet-Ups are collaborative, informal and participant-led. Some people come with ideas, others come to explore, contribute or learn something new. The emphasis is on making things together and seeing where the process leads.
Free refreshments provided.
