    From Lady Constance Lytton to Constance Markievicz, Annie Kenney to Bessie Braddock, Eleanor Rathbone to Barbara Castle. Join Open Eye Gallery Poet-in-Residence, Dr Pauline Rowe in an evening celebrating the 209 exhibition and remarkable women from our public and parliamentary life.  Women writers and readers will share the speeches and words of political and artistic pioneers and honour them with new writing and poems.

    Women writers and readers will share the speeches of political pioneers and honour them with new writing and poems.  We have a few spaces left for reading so If you would like to take part contact our poet-in-residence, Pauline Rowe, with a suggestion of what you would like to read (if commemorating a woman writer, MP, artist or musician etc.,) or a copy of any new work or poem.
