Cities of Exchange: Liverpool/ Hong Kong
LOOK/17, Liverpool’s biennial International Photography Festival returns this spring exploring Cities of Exchange. Twinning Liverpool and Hong Kong, with artists from both countries responding to their city of exchange, examining various themes including urbanism, social housing, architecture, commerce and colonialism. Curated by Hong Kong based curator Ying Kwok, and with a new partnership with Open Eye Gallery, this year’s festival features work by artists Wo Bik Wong, Luke Ching, Derek Man, Yan Preston and Virgile Simon Bertrand. It will feature a fringe festival and other events across the city.
