    The Black-E

Roll up, roll up to The Black-E fun palace for an evening weaved together by circus entrepreneurs, Mike and Kate Baugh of Cigam Productions, Aerial Artist La Vol Adagio and The Black-E, creating a special evening to mark the start of the celebratory year of the 50th Anniversary of The Black-E Cultural and Community Project.

Woven together to explore the body of dancers and circus artists, which they have developed during years of transformative training and practice. They have specially developed muscles which most of us do not have. They have special skills – such as bouncing and catching multiple balls, walking along a tightrope, or performing on a trapeze. Their bodies have been transformed. On occasions breaking out of the performance, with intimate dialogue that addresses the audience, the artists will share their transformative journey, taking you with them through the pleasures and pains of years of training that transformed their bodies.
