Join textile artist Hilary Torpey in a unique series of sewing workshops taking place at Kirkby Gallery this Summer. Learn a variety of useful stitches for both practical and decorative work. Using repurposed fabrics, not only make do and mend, but make fabulous under Hilary’s expert guidance. Learn to repair, recreate and embellish recycled garments. Please note, this is a hand sewing class and some prior sewing experience is advised. The sessions will comprise a full course and so attendance at all of the workshops is recommended.
